It is team-assisted: submit a backup upload or your old host SFTP details with our Migrate tool, then our team reaches out to schedule the secure transfer and move your files for you. Can I install plugins and mods?

Our per-game plugin installer drops Paper/Spigot plugins into a Minecraft server, Oxide/Carbon plugins into Rust, and metamod/sourcemod into Source games, each into the correct path automatically. Minecraft servers also get live Modrinth search so you can install from the full plugin index.

Do I need to use a separate control panel?

No. Power controls, a live console, a web file manager, backups, MySQL databases, scheduled tasks and SFTP are all built into your NovaStack dashboard — you never log into a separate game panel.

Yes. Plan changes are handled by our support team today — open a ticket from your dashboard and we’ll resize your server’s RAM and CPU for you, usually the same day. Because billing is credit-based and metered by usage, your existing credit balance carries straight over — you never lose credits. A self-serve resize button is on our roadmap.

What does “unlimited player slots” actually mean?

Exactly what it says — we never put an artificial cap on player slots to push you toward a bigger plan. The only real limit is your plan’s RAM and CPU: more players need more memory. We size our nodes responsibly and monitor real-time memory pressure, so the resources you pay for are there when your server needs them.

Can I use my server commercially or run a monetized community?

Yes — and you never need a special plan for it. Run donation stores, sell ranks and cosmetics, take sponsorships, or host servers for your business or brand; we never suspend you just for making money.
